First Apartments

Holiday apartments in the centre of Grindelwald

You can find our three newly furnished First Apartments right in the heart of Grindelwald. We have given them names that aptly refer to the region – “Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau”. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Eiger from your balcony and leave the everyday world behind.

The First Apartments are managed by First Lodge, which is right next door. Each apartment has its own balcony with views of the surrounding mountains.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the premises.

KITCHEN

In each apartment, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, hob, kettle and there is also a coffee machine available.

LIVING ROOM

Each unit has a comfortable sitting area with a flat-screen TV.

BATHROOM

Every apartment has its own bathroom equipped with a shower and hairdryer.

SKIING & SNOWBOARDING

Ski hire, direct access to the ski slopes and ski storage facilities are all available from the apartment. You can go skiing in the surrounding area.

PARKING

Parking available for a fee, but only possible with reservation.

The Jungfrau apartment has a bedroom with box-spring double bed, kitchen, bathroom and a living room with a pull-out sofa bed (140X200cm). It also has an additional room with two single beds.

Administration

Administration is handled by the First Lodge. This is located directly opposite. If you have any questions, please contact them during reception hours.

Keys/check-in

Check- in is possible from 14:30. We will gladly see you off by 10:00 am at the latest.

Return of the vacation apartment/ check-out

The vacation apartment must be returned on the day of departure by 10:00 a.m. at the latest and in a tidy condition, including all inventory.
The tenant is liable for damages and missing inventory.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

No smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire apartment.

Night rest

Respect the midday and night rest of your neighbors.
– Lunch break 12.00 – 13.30 hrs
– A general night’s rest applies from 10.00 pm
Your neighbors will be grateful if you respect the peace and quiet at night.

Careful use

The tenant undertakes to use the rented property with care, to comply with the house rules and to show consideration for the occupants and furnishings. The landlord must be informed immediately of any damage. The rented property may be occupied by no more than the number of persons specified in the contract. Subletting is not permitted.

Bedding/Bed linen

The bedding is provided by the landlord, with all beds having been freshly made up when you arrive.
Bed linen is provided by the landlord. All beds are freshly made upon arrival.

Towels / kitchen towels

Are provided by the landlord.

Inventory

Every item has its place.
Furnishings may not be taken outside. Damaged items must be reported to the landlord and will be charged for.

Kitchen

The cleaning/dishwashing products provided may be used to clean the hob.
Dishes and pans must be clean when leaving the apartment.

Rubbish

Garbage must be packed in the official garbage bags.

Final cleaning

The apartment must be left tidy on departure. No food may be left in the cupboards or refrigerator. The final cleaning of the apartment is carried out by the landlord and is included in the price.
General
When you leave the apartment, all windows must be closed and the apartment locked with the key.

General terms and conditions of contract

Subject matter of the contract
These General Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between you and Ysebaert Gastro GmbH. They are based on the reservation confirmation which will be sent to you by e-mail.

Options
Option dates are binding for both parties. Ysebaert Gastro GmbH can automatically dispose of the reserved rooms after the option period has expired, provided the customer has not confirmed.

Cancellations of hotel reservations
We kindly ask you to inform us of any significant changes to your reservation as early as possible and in writing. You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 3 days before arrival.

Liability/duty of care
The hotel room and the public areas are to be used by the guest with the utmost care. The guest is liable for any damage to property. The hotel declines all liability for theft, etc. and in relation to third-party services.

Lost property
Lost property will only be forwarded at the guest’s request. Ysebaert Gastro GmbH accepts no liability in the event of the loss of personal belongings and valuables. This applies to the time during your stay as well as in the case of returns. The guest shall bear the costs and risk of subsequent shipment.

Applicable law, place of jurisdiction
The legal relationship between you and Ysebaert Gastro GmbH is governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Thun.
